What is the Christian Bible? The Christian Bible is a library of ancient writings collected for corporate use as the genetic or adopted backstory for a Christian’s life of faith.

What is a backstory? A history or background for a character in a story.

To become a Christian through baptism is to be given or to intentionally adopt the backstory of Christians: in our case, the Bible, plus church history and various traditions. The Christian backstory begins with the Jewish backstory.

Join us weekly to read and discuss the “greatest hits” of the Bible—the very basic backstory of Hebrew scripture that sets the stage for Christ’s life, death, and resurrection.

A Zoom link for this class will be available in the Shepherd's Crook weekly email. For more information, contact Pastor Josh.
